ACTion Programs for Animals

Leading the effort for a No Kill Las Cruces, the area shelter credits APA for a significant contribution to reducing euthanasia from over 70% in 2006 to under 30% in 2015. And to help keep pets in their homes APA’s 200+ volunteers operate a pet food pantry, host several low-cost shot clinics, encourage spay/neuter, and educate the public with resources and alternatives to pet surrender. Our grant will assist with veterinary costs for their senior rescues.
